Artist Panel on Abstract Art in Chicago
Michael was one of the members of an Artist Panel September 29th presented by the Hofheimer Gallery, Chicago, IL that was an Art Expo After Hours Event. The question at hand was “Abstract Art and Its Relevance in Chicago Today” Pictured left to right: Susan Aurinko, Judith Roston Freilich, Charles Gniech, Michael K. Faculty Works Exhibition
I am pleased to be in included in the Faculty Works exhibition that opens August 22, 2017 at the Hokin Gallery of Columbia College Chicago. Featuring work completed in 2016 I will have on view Cobbtown 72 in. x108 in., chalk, charcoal, gesso on prepared raw canvas.
Locus at Mason-Scharfenstiein Museum of Art
I am pleased to be included in the group exhibition Locus that will be on view at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art of Piedmont College in Demorest, GA. Curator of the exhibition is John Lee Matney of Linda Matney Gallery, Williamsburg, VA. I will have a selection of my ink on drafting film drawings shown and the dates for the exhibition are May10-June 25, with an opening of June 10th slated.
