These large-scale 6ft. x 9ft. horizontal paintings of chalk, charcoal, gesso and acrylic on prepared raw canvas are built by randomly selecting observational drawings from sketchbooks done on long walks while staying in a renovated historic mill (moulin) during a recent visit to Brittany.
